Lily Pad is a chartreuse green (in case you ever wondered what THAT color looked like!) wool yarn with flecks of orange, teal, and blue.
Make a statement with a sweater made from this green yarn. It'll be as cute and quirky as a frog on a lily pad!
All Peace Fleece worsted weight yarn is two-ply and is approx. 200 yards per 4 oz. skein. A knitting yarn that with washing and wear will develop a soft halo revealing the mohair content.
**Peace Fleece does contain vegetable matter. They have chosen not to use the "carbonizing" process where the wool is dipped into sulphuric acid to remove bits of dried grass. The minimal amount vegetable matter that remains after the finished process is easily removed as you work and reminds you that this yarn is an end product given to us by real sheep.
75% Merino/Rambouillet wool from Cottage Hill Farm in Ohio, Cook Farm in the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota and the Navajo Nation in Arizona, and 25% Texas Mohair.
