Green Prism is the big, cozy cousin of my original Prism colorway—this particular batch leaning a little greener overall, while still showing off the full rainbow Prism is known for. Think fresh spring leaves, soft moss, and leafy olive tones mingling with splashes of cherry red, eggplant purple, electric blue, golden yellow, and coral. It’s the kind of handspun that practically waves at you from across the room and says, “Hey, let’s make something fun today.”
Each skein is spun right here in my West Virginia home from 100% superwash merino wool that is hand-dyed into a saturated, shifting rainbow of color. The fiber is drafted and twisted into a plump, bouncy bulky 2-ply with plenty of character, but a smooth enough surface that your stitches still show clearly. As with all handspun yarn, gentle variations in thickness and color flow are part of its charm and give your finished piece that cozy, organic texture you just can’t get from mill-spun yarn. I knit 15 sts per 4" (10 cm) on US 10 (6 mm) needles ( but individual tension may vary).
Because this yarn is both hand-dyed and handspun, no two skeins are exactly alike. Some may lean a little greener, others may let warmer shades take the lead, but every skein belongs to the same cheerful Prism family. The barber-pole colors blend as you work, creating shifting stripes and speckles without juggling multiple balls of yarn. Just cast on and let the yarn do the showing off.

Care instructions
This is a superwash merino, so it technically can be gently machine washed in cold water on a delicate cycle, but your chances of accidental felting are much higher. For the longest, happiest life, I still recommend hand washing in cool water, using a gentle wool wash soap (not Woolite), and laying flat to dry. Treat your finished project kindly and it will stay soft, vibrant, and ready to wrap you in color for years to come.
This bulky version is made for makers who love to complete their projects a little faster: big needles, big hooks, big personality. It works up quickly into squishy, soft fabric with lively drape—perfect for those “I need a win tonight” projects as well as last-minute gifts. Green Prism shines in cowls, hats, mittens, chunky scarves, quick baby sweaters, and all those cozy, reach-for-them-again pieces you want close at hand when the weather turns cool.
If your project pile is feeling a little too serious, this skein is ready to lighten the mood and add a bright, leafy pop of color to your handmade wardrobe—one cheerful stitch at a time.
